God Gives Us Everything We Need!

People often ask how I get so many things accomplished and this morning was a reminder of how it is possible. I was able to begin my day today with a wonderful breakfast provided by a wonderful friend named Arleen who I believe God has made into my big sister. She equipped me yesterday to be able to begin my day early without having to take thought of what I was going to prepare for breakfast. God laid on her heart to be sure that I had everything I needed today for me and my family to begin our day!

There are so many occasions where Arleen gives me the right tools, the right suggestions, the encouragement, the knowledge, etc. I cannot tell you how many times she has looked out for me over this past year and just made sure that I had what I needed to accomplish the task at hand. She is very involved in my wedding plans for Deena and has already purchased and wrapped her gift, who does that?

God put this special person in my life to assist me in all I need to do. People say to me often, "you are always taking care of others, don't forget to take care of you!" Seems to me that God allows me to take care of others because He has Arleen and many others (such as my dear friend who just purchased my new "rose" overalls) already taking care of me.....These individuals are a gift from my Heavenly Father and they have a way of making my heart smile daily! I would like for all my family and friends to meet my big sister: Arleen!

Thank you God for giving us everything we need to do what it is you have called us to do each day......

Read Your Bible

II Peter 1:12-21

Reading our Bible should be something we do daily, not just opening it up on Sunday morning during church. In the first two verses of this scripture Paul says, " Yeah, I know your firmly established in the truth you now have but as long as we are here in this body we need a constant reminder of God's promises." The Bible is our road map to life, something we should be reading everyday. Just the same as talking to our spouse, brushing our teeth, eating, etc., stuff we do everyday. Reading the Bible should be no different because we need the scriptures to reveal to us all that God wants to tell us about Himself. Don't you want to know what's on His heart for you today?
