A New Year And New Beginnings!

What is it about a new year that makes you feel you have another opportunity to get it right? If you know the answer to that, let me know! Personally, I love the beginning of a new year, just like I enjoy the beginning of a new week, or the beginning of a new day - maybe that's just me.

Our family has so much to be grateful for with Jim spending time in the hospital over the holidays and being able to come home feeling better than he has felt in a very long time. Makes me wonder how long he has been dealing with these blood clots and didn't even know. I am just grateful to his doctor for being there at the hospital that day and caring enough about Jimmy to ask him how he was doing and the rest is history.

Also, I am grateful to those who have wanted to donate a kidney and the most recent friend who went through the testing even though there has not been a match - we appreciate the sacrifice! God has another plan and we will just continue to seek what the plan is along the journey. Thank you family and friends for all your love and support through this and the joy you bring to us each and every day!

Charlotte Hawkins shared this verse with our ladies this week and I loved it and thought what a great way to start the New Year: Philippians 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing.
