The Blood Of Christ

Photobucket

Read Revelation 7:9-17

Many believe they are good enough to get into heaven because they haven't done some of the horrific sins we see going on in the news or in the world. The crowd in heaven in these scriptures praises God, saying, "Salvation comes from our God upon the throne, and from the Lamb." Salvation and the penalty of sin comes only through Jesus Christ because no amount of good works will ever cleanse the sin in our hearts and lives.

Those dressed in white had come out of the Great Tribulation and their garments had been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ the world's greatest purifier because it removes the stains of sin. White symbolizes sinless perfection or holiness, a picture of how we are saved by faith. Their tribulations and sorrows are over, no more tears, no more suffering, no more death because all believers have been resurrected to die no more.

Have you received salvation through the blood that Christ shed on the cross?

Worship Is Important

Read: Revelation 4:1-11

In Chapter 4 of Revelation there are a lot of different things going on but what sticks out the most is the fact that the Angels and the Saints are worshiping God continually. If the Angels and the Saints think it's important to worship the King of Kings all the time, then why shouldn't we? Don't you think you should be practicing for that day when you finally get to heaven?

God's right over us as the Creator gives Him claim over everything, and that is a fact that should be accepted and enjoyed. Rejecting that fact only leads to frustration.

Make sure your planning ahead for that great day!

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty, who was and is and is to come." (vs. 8b)

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." (vs. 11)

AMEN! WORSHIP HIM!
