Sunrise!

This morning I went to the beach for a walk to see the sun rise; the moon is the white sliver you see in the sky before the sun begins to rise.


Psalm 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

My Hiding Place!

We all need a place to go and just escape from the chaos of this life and for me I have so many places that I love to do just that and they are "my hiding places" - There are no distractions and no one can find me! When I am there it fills my soul in a way that I cannot even explain, it just feels good! Sometimes there is nothing I can do about the stresses of life, except to find a beautiful spot to just sit and enjoy, then I have the opportunity to meditate and pray. Today as I looked at all the beauty around me, my eyes became the windows for my soul and I could see that God was there! I hope you enjoy........

Jim's Health Update!

Today my husband Jimmy had an appointment with the kidney transplant surgeon at Jackson Memorial in Miami. He will need some additional test done because of the diverticulitis he had several years ago and also because of the cyst rupturing last year before he is able to be put on the transplant list. He will begin dialysis this week and looking forward to feeling some physical relief.

We want to thank everyone who has wanted to donate their own kidney for Jimmy but have been ruled out due to their own health, or the standards of the kidney foundation. That takes a lot of courage and we just appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity!

This picture was sent by our niece Theresa Yanick with a note that said, "I've attached a photo for Uncle Jimmy. It was taken from a plane over the Bahamas. When I see this image I think of, "where there is darkness there is hope on the horizon."
